Dr. Michel Vos, UMCG

Michel Vos earned his PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Groningen in 2009, focusing on protein folding diseases. Following his PhD, he pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in the field of multiple sclerosis, deepening his expertise in neurodegenerative diseases. In 2014, he completed his training as a clinical chemist, further specializing in endocrinology at the Amsterdam Medical Center. Currently, he is a clinical chemist at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), where he specializes in clinical mass spectrometry. His work spans (neuro)-endocrinology, oncology, gastroenterology, and inherited metabolic diseases, contributing to the advancement of diagnostic approaches.
