Dr. Karl Edman

Karl has a PhD in kinetic crystallography on membrane proteins, elucidating mechanistic details of energy transduction and sensory signaling. He joined AstraZeneca as a structural biologist in 2002 and is currently working as project leader across many different drug discovery modalities. He has published over 40 articles and has been involved in developing next generation modulators for both the glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid receptors.
