Prof. dr. Henri Timmers

Henri Timmers (1971) is full professor of endocrinology and head of the section of endocrinology of the department of internal medicine and head of the Radboud expert centre for adrenal disease, at the Radboud University Medical Center Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He graduated as M.D. (1997) and Ph.D. (2004) at the Radboud University Nijmegen and the Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He specialized in internal medicine and endocrinology. In 2006-2009 he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the National Institutes of Health (Reproductive and Adult Endocrinology Program, NICHD, Bethesda MD, United States). He served three terms as member of the steering committee of the European Network for the Study of Adrenal Tumors (ENS@T) and is board member of the international Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma Research Support Organization (PRESSOR). His principle clinical and scientific focus is on adrenal tumors, especially pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.
