Dr. Thalijn Wolters, Radboudumc

Thalijn Wolters obtained her medical degree from the Radboud University (Nijmegen), whereafter she started PhD trajectory on the long-term consequences of acromegaly, which she successfully finished in 2020. During her PhD she studied the impact of hormones on the immune system, and this has been her fascination ever since. Alongside her residence in endocrinology, she completed a two-year course in integrative and lifestyle medicine to expand her toolbox, pursuing her ambition to approach the endocrine system in a holistic way. Since 2024, she works as an internist-endocrinologist in the Radboudumc Nijmegen and Rijnstate/Vitalys in Elst, where she integrates lifestyle medicine in her daily practice and has a special interest in the interplay between the endocrine system and the immune system.
