Dr. Adam Sharp

Dr. Adam Sharp, Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital London, UK

Dr. Adam Sharp leads the Translational Therapeutics Team at The Institute of Cancer Research London. He is also an Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology in the Prostate Cancer Targeted Therapy Group and Drug Development Unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Scinece, Doctor of Philosophy and Medical Degree at the University of Southampton before completing his Medical Oncology training and post-doctoral studies at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. His research is focused on understanding prostate cancer biology including androgen receptor biology, mitochondrial mediated cell death, and RNA processing, to support the development of novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of lethal prostate cancer.
